Animal Crossing 3ds: New Footage and Pictures Leaked!!!
Yes, it's true! There is a new trailer for the new Animal Crossing, along with screenshots! That was all revealed at e3 of 2011.
To me, this game just keeps getting better and better. When I watched the trailer and saw that swimming was now an option (finally) after 3 games in the series, I was totally excited for what was to come! I'd actually always wanted to swim in the game, ever since the gamecube version. I don't mind having to wear one of those body- suits to go swimming anyway. Maybe when one of the shops upgrade (like the Able Sisters), new bathing suits will be available. ;D Speaking of the Able Sisters, the new clothes options means that you can design different pieces of clothing to create an outfit!
I've always wanted to swim in the game, because how lame is enduring the heat in the summer, and not swimming at all? I think swimming makes a good summer activity. Or, you could pretend to catch some waves in Winter, which brings me to my next point...
Are there any seasonal activities? Like, how about there being one pond in your town that freezes in winter, and allows you to ice skate! *o* Haha I better not get my hopes up, but I can't help but wonder. I hope they have added a lot of new stuff, since people complained so much after AC: CF came out. The truth is, City Folk was supposed to be for newcomers of the series, so they decided not to change a lot. They thought if they just added a city, that would be enough change.
Anyways, I better be totally suprised and amazed and stuff when this game comes out. I actually have grown fond of the characters' new design. I like the height on them, because now I think they finally look like the humans from the Animal Crossing Movie (which was only released in Japan -.-). I gotta say, even the landscaping kind of looks like it's out of that same movie. Everything looks so smooth and... pretty? Like, eye- candy, almost. Some people claim it looks more realistic, but I don't quite believe that's correct. They still look like trees you'd see in a game or possibly the Animal Crossing Movie. I think that this game is going to be great. I saw a little review on this game that somebody did on Youtube. It was about their thoughts based on the trailer they saw. They said they thought it was crappy, only because of the character design. According to them, Animal Crossing is only about "doing stuff", and that the character design takes away from that somehow...??? I don't really get it, but I obviously disagree with them. If anything, by watching the trailer itself, I believe Nintendo has added even MORE things to do! And what's better than that? :D
The only thing that makes me suspicious.... is the fact that nobody knows the release date! >:| It's like, ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? Everybody should have found out at E3 2011. I mean, 3 years ago when AC:CF was going to be released, they mentioned the release date, even though it kept getting pushed until November 16th. I had to get as much info as I could about the release date, so I looked for clues or rumors on the internet, and these are the rumors that have the potential of being true:
1) It was said in a press conference Nintendo held, that the game would be released in November. BUT that's only a rumor...
2) People who I guess have asked Gamestop have reported that the game is not coming out until January of 2012.
There was one rumor that was NOT true... it was that the game was to be released August 2nd, 2011, but that date has already passed, and everybody has yet to find out what's going on here. :/
I hope you liked this month's blog about Animal Crossing! Here's the link to the trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tgIy5YZKp-8, and here's the link to a website containing the newest screenshots: http://media.ds.ign.com/media/077/077803/imgs_1.html.
